A comprehensive study of the various coating properties such as drying time, hardness, adhesion, gloss, flexibility, skinning tendency, corrosion, impact resistance and chemical resistance of blends of ketonic (cyclohexanone formalde-hyde)-CSNL-epoxy resin was carried out in the laboratory. The two constituents of the blends were mixed in various blend ratios and their aforesaid coating properties were ascertained. The study revealed that 60:40 percent (w/w) ratio of the two blend components exhibited remarkable improvement in the various coating properties over that of the resins taken individually. |
