Résumé : |
Environmental regulations are demanding the wood finishing market to shift to coatings with increasingly lower amount of solvents, volatile organic compounds and hazardous air pollutants. Recent advancement in waterborne wood coatings has led to various waterborne technologies that exhibit the appearance as well as performance requirement of solvent-borne lacquers. Described here are four formaldehyde-free waterborne technologies that incorporate acrylic dispersion polymers specially designed for the high-end wood industry. |
