Résumé : |
Water borne formulations frequently need special components added to make the viscosity up to a range the user needs for application. There are four types of water soluble polymers used in this application. These four types are discussed with respect to their operating mechanism, their strengths and their weaknesses. Compatibility with other components of the water borne formulation is of premier importance, and understanding the interactions is based on polymer and colloid science. |
