Résumé : |
This paper shows how to select the most suitable TiO2 pigments for waterborne general industrial coatings. The performance of TiO2 grades in a variety of waterborne systems based on different resin technologies is discussed. The correlation between pigment performance in the different resin systems is examined. Pigment properties such as the inorganic surface coating, pigment pH, dispersant demand, conductivity and isoelectric point have also been assessed for their influence on waterborne paint performance. |
