Résumé :	The promising and common is to use small amounts of coupling agents in a coating formulation to improve its adhesion to the substrate. This aspect has been described in earlier papers on the subject. Some techniques other than those reviewed in the previous papers to enhance adhesion are described here. A few methods used for identification and characterization of adhesion promoters have also been discussed.
