Titre : Development of an RTM leading edge Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Luis Rubio, Auteur ; José Luis Léon, Auteur Année de publication : 2006 Article en page(s) : p. 37-40 Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : 'Fibre minérale' Aéronautique Aile Application 'Bord attaque' 'Méthode élément fini' 'Simulation numérique' 'Conception pièce' assistée' 'Matériau renforcé fibre' Polymère 'Moulage transfert' composite' carbone' Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : While the leading edge of a Uftinq surface is a secondary structure, it is an essential compoiicni because it has to msist bird strike. A structural solution in carbon-fibre composite can provide the required resistance and a high level of functional integration as well. Such a solution is undoubtedly a very competitive option for new aircraft develepments, as these combined advantages produce lighter elements at lower industriat cost. The joint R&D effor of EADS-CASA and IDEC (ALCOR Group) has culminated in a new leading edge concept that complies with the previously mentioned requirements. Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) is the technology that makes this achievement possible. Note de contenu : - Selection of RTM technology : Design

Titre : Development of a composite pressure vessel Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Patrick Gantzer, Auteur ; Fabrice Laurent, Auteur Année de publication : 2007 Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : 'Fibre minérale' 'Etude expérimentale' 'Transport routier' 'Camion citerne' 'Récipient sous pression' Application 'Moulage transfert' carbone' verre' 'Matériau renforcé fibre' Epoxy 'Vinylester résine' Stratifié Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : This paper sums up five years of research and development focused on producing composite pressure vessel prototypes for the transportation of substances in powder form. Twenty years ago, Spitzer Eurovrac, a European leader in bulk powder transportation, was one of the first to consider replacing stainless steel with aluminium for this kind of vessel. They successfully reduced the weight of the vessel and then, a few years later, the weight of the trailer chassis. Since 2002, the company has been preparing the transfer from metal to composite with the support of Cetim-Cermat for design, calculation and process development.
