Recently, the flow-fiber coupled model of informed isotropic (IISO) viscosity was proposed for simulating the realistic flow-induced fiber orientation. At present, one attempts to improve the IISO viscosity in relation to fiber content and aspect ratio. Therefore, injection molding simulations of 30 wt% and 50 wt% short glass fiber-reinforced Polyamide66 (30 wt% SGF/PA66 and 50 wt% SGF/PA66) are performed in the IISO flow-fiber couple 3D-FVM (three-dimensional finite volume method) computation under the fixed aspect ratio of a r = 20. As a result, the predicted fiber orientation distributions are in good agreement with related experimental data, while the core width is increased with fiber contents. In addition, the anisotropic ear flow occurs at the higher content. Based on shear viscosity of 30 wt% SGF/PA66, one can directly alter fiber content as 50 wt% SGF/PA66 in the IISO computation to anticipate the reliable trend of fiber orientation and flow behavior. When the a r = 20 short fiber is lengthened as the a r = 50 long fiber, the core obviously becomes the wider. It is significant to investigate the difference between the decoupled and coupled computation, as well as the influence of the flow-fiber coupled and fiber orientation model parameters. In order to achieve such special decorative effects, metal pigments are applied also in printing inks. The possibilities these decorative inks offer to the graphic art industries are of great multiplicity and still have not been exhausted.
The following is a view on production and properties of the metal effect pigments as well as the resulting problems concerning the different printing applications.
The production of metal pigments has long tradition; it has developed from the gold beaters craft which existed already in 1000 B.C. The waste resulting from the gold leaf production was pulverized in a mortar, pasted with a binder and used as paint. This process was also applied on other metal leaves.
For historical reasons, metal effect pigments are therefore called "silver" - and "gold bronze", although - from the metallurgical point of view - they have nothing to do with gold, silver or bronze. They are made of aluminium, copper and brass pigments (copper - zinc-alloy).Note de contenu : - Copper and zinc for gold bronze pigments, aluminium for silver shades

Integrative crash simulation pays account to the local orientations in the component when calculating local stress-strain conditions. Comparing the simulation method to trials shows how well the results match with reality. Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=10123
