Adhesive or sealant resin formulations can vary as well—by chemistry, viscosity, filler content, handling time, and moisture sensitivity, as well as other critical performance factors engineered by the material supplier. If a meter/mix system is chosen simply based on the mix ratio capability of the system, it will likely to fall short on capability to meet the application and production needs. Following are some key points to consider when choosing meter/mix equipment. Note de contenu : - Formulation and application considerations

Rubans adhésifsIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Adhesive and tape manufacturers are currently faced with a shortage of isoprene, a key raw material for SIS block copolymers. As block copolymers are an essential part of most hotmelt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) formulations, the industry is looking for viable alternatives. This article offers several formulation strategies to help manufacturers of tapes and labels mitigate the current isoprene shortage. These strategies will allow PSA manufacturers to continue production of high quality PSA tapes while reducing SIS content. Note de contenu : - The SIBS block copolymer solution

Joints d'échantéité -- Séchage sous rayonnement ultravioletIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Ultraviolet (UV)-curable adhesives and sealants have been used successfully in numerous applications due to their excellent high-strength bonding to a variety of substrates, as well as their aesthetically pleasing finish. Their quick curing times are ideal for high-speed, high-volume production lines.
In such demanding production lines, selecting the appropriate UV-curable sealants, applicators and UV-curing equipment is important for the proper implementation of a UV-curable sealant process. Additional considerations may be necessary in order to comply with specific product safety regulations. Implementing a UV-curable sealant system for a high-speed, high-volume ammunition production line can be challenging, but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.En ligne : http://www.adhesivesmag.com/articles/90125-an-explosion-proof-uv-curable-sealant [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Web Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=25726
