The vast majority of the electrical energy is released to the environment as thermal energy. However, following exactly the same principle, the “In-Mould Impregnation” process makes exceptionally efficient use of this Joule heating. Electrically connected carbon fibers directly generate the heat for their own impregnation with a thermoplastic matrix. Note de contenu : - Shaping at room temperature
- Underlying principles of impregnation
- Modified polyamide accelerates impregnation
- Pore volume fraction influences mechanical properties
- Thermistor properties and impregnation quality of carbon fibersPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=16252
