Résumé : |
The scope of this survey encompasses potential technical applications of renewable raw materials within the fields of paints, polymers, labricaflts, solvents and surfactants Interest in naturally derived raw materials has been growing in every segment of the chemical industry. The paint and coatings sector is no exception. One of the principles of green chemistry is to prioritize the use of alternative and renewable materials including the agricultural waste or biomass and non-food-related bioproducts Other principles focus on prevention of waste, less hazardous chemical syntheses, and designing safer chemicals including safer solvents. Other focus on the design of chemical products to safely degrade in the environment and efficiency and simplicity in chemical processes. A transformation to Green chemistry techniques would result in safer workplaces for industry workers, greatly reduced risks to fence line communities and safer products for consumers. |
