Résumé : |
A liquid paint is a dispersion of pigments and resins in a solvent which, when applied to a surface, acquires a solid consistency due to the evaporation of solvent or the chemical reaction of the components with one another or with the environment. It could be inferred from this that we are talking about very diverse materials. Resins are polymers, pigments may be polymeric, ceramic or metallic, the same as substrates. It is precisely this complexity that led us to choose this subject since, in our opinion, it contributes to the sake of science and technology as a didactic element. The main goal of this study is to formulate, obtain and characterize paints. |
