For the planning of electro dip-coating installations there are some aspects which have to be considered : new operational safety ordinance, particular requirements for toxic heavy metals, adsorbable organic halogen compounds (AOC) and chemical oxygen demand (COD), the neu European waste catalog and EU-wide equal standards for installations. In general, the article describes,that the end-of-life vehicle or – dinance is not about eliminating lead, only but there are numerous requirements which make it appear advisable to go one or two steps further in the unavoidable replacement of organic tin-based materials. |
