Résumé : |
Silicone resins are eminently suitable for use in masonry protection due to their inorganic/organic hybrid nature and their excellent functionality. Unique for their spreading properties, silicone resins coat mineral substrates with amazing speed and remain irreversibly anchored there. Examination of the microstructure reveals something astonishing : the silicone resin network also completely envelops the calcite filler and is also exceptionally durable. |
