Résumé : |
A technology platform was developed crating a new class of nano-modified coating raw materials. For the first time polyisocyanates as well as polyacrylate polyole dispersions containing nanoparticles could be developed, yielding coatings with excellent optical properties concerning gloss and haze without compromising polymer- intrinsic properties like appearance and elasticity. The essential step in this new technology was the specific, chemical modification of the coating raw materials which polyol dispersions on the other hand. Handling was identical to standard raw materials and formulations were easy to use with existing application technology. High scratch resistance in 2K solvent and waterborne clear coat applications at loadings of 10 to 15 % silica in the film could be achieved. Additionally, the corrosion protection properties in pigmented 2K waterborne hydroprimers and topcoats could strongly be improved. |
