Production of American life-style leathers continues as a strong fashion item. Consumers are requiring high levels of comfort and style. Leather manufactured with water resistance offer significant benefits in comfort. Leathers produced with stain resistance can aid styling requirements. Due to these factors a significant portion of American leather is manufacruted with water and stain resistance. This paper will discuss : Comfort style requirements, criteria for successful waterproofing and past and future methodology for producing water stain resistant leathers requirements. |
