TannageIndex. décimale : 628.5 Pollution et hygiène industrielle Résumé : In order to control the pollution of nitrite, a sample, accurate and sensitive reverse reference flow injection analysis (ffRIA) spectrophotometric method for determination of nitrite in tannery effluent is proposed. In acid conditions, nitrite with sulfanilamide is diazotized, and then the diazo material is coupled with N-1-naphthyl ethylenediamine hydrochloride (NEH) to form a red product. The absorbance of the complex compound is measured at 540nm. Chemical factors and rrFIA variables affecting the system are also discussed. Under the optimal conditions, the linear range of this method was 0-50.0 g l-1 ; the detection limit was 0.03 g l-1 ; the relative standard deviation was 0.844 %. This method was suitable for automatic and continuous analysis, and successfully applied to determine the content of nitrite in tannery effluent. TaninsIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : A rapid, simple, reliable and automatic method was proposed for on-line determination of tannic acid in leather wastewaters. Based on the tannic acid reduction of phosphotungstic acid to form a blue compound in pH12.38 alkaline solutions, the shade of the blue compound is in a linear relation to the content of tannic acid at the maximum absorption peak of 700nm. The optimal experimental conditions have been obtained. The linear range of the proposed method was between 200μg L-1 to 50mg L-1. The relative standard deviation was 3.21% and 2.06% for 500μg L-1 and 20mg L-1 of tannic acid standard solution respectively (n = 10). The method had been successfully applied to determination of tannic acid in leather wastewater samples and the analytical results were satisfactory. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : The chloride ion (Cl-) is very important to both human and animal health, and directly impacts on the natural environment. This paper proposes a simple, accurate, sensitive and selective flow injection catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric method for the rapid determination of chloride ion in tannery effluent. in acidic media and with heat, the reaction of indigo carmine and potassium bromate is catalysed by the chloride ion. The absorbance of this reaction solution was recorded at 610nm. Chemical factors and FIA variables affecting the system were also discussed. The linear concentration range of the calibration curve was from 0.2-420mg L-1 of standard solutions. The relative standard deviation was 0.88 % for 28.0mg l-1 chloride ion( n=9), and the detection limit was à .009mg l-1 calculated from three times the average background noise. This method, which is suitable for automatic continuous analysis, has been successfully applied to the determination of chloride ion in tannery effluent. TannageIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : In order to control the pollution by nitrate, a simple, accurate and sensitive reverse flow injection analysis (rFIA) spectrophotometric method for determination of nitrate in tannery effluent is proposed in this paper. Firstly, in alkaline medium and with copper ion as catalyst, nitrate is reduced to nitrite by hydrazine sulfate. Then in acid condition, nitrate and sulfanilamide are diazotized. The diazo material is then coupled with N-1-naphthyl ethylenediamine hydrochloride (NEH) to form a red product. The absorbance of the complex compounds is measured at 540nm. Chemical factors ad rFIA variables affecting the system are also discussed. Under the otimal conditions, the linear range of this method was 50-5000µg l-1 ; the detection limit was 7µg l-1 ; the relative standard deviation was 0.844%. Using flow injection spectrophotometry with Ce(IV) as oxidant Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Dai Shijun, Auteur ; Zhang Xinshen, Auteur ; Yu Lingyun, Auteur ; Xiao Kai, Auteur ; Tong Ling, Auteur ; Sun Dongmei, Auteur ; Tu Jie, Auteur Année de publication : 2009 Article en page(s) : p. 245-249 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 675.2 Préparation du cuir naturel. Tannage Résumé : A rapid and sensitive method is described for flow injection spectrophotometric determination of trace Cr(VI) and total chromium in tannery effluent. The method is based upon the classical reaction of Cr(VI) with diphenylcarbazide (DPC) to form a water-soluble complex (lambda max=540nm). Cr(III) reacts with DPC only after its on-line oxidation to Cr(VI) by Ce(SO4). Under the optimized conditions, the calibration curves were linear over the range 5-100µg 1-1 and 2à -200 µg 1-1 for Cr(VI) and total chromium, respectively, while the precision close to the quantification limit was satisfactory in both cases (Sr=0.49 % for Cr(VI) and 0.94 % for total chromium (n=10) at the same level, 50µg 1-1, respectively). the application of the method to the analysis of tannery effluent gave accurate results based on recovery studies (98.7-103.3 %). Analytical results of total chromium tannery effluent were in good agreement with that of reference method.
