In comparison with the original dyestuff form, the microencapsulated dye showed a deeper shade and a greater depth of through-dyeing. Exhaustion and colour fastness values were the same.

TricotIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : The aim of this study was verification of the effect on the dyeing process of using microencapsulated forms of textile dyes and a textile auxiliary agent. Anionic dyes and ammonium sulphate were microencapsulated into the liposomic systems. Prepared liposomes were used for the dyeing of polyamide knitted goods. The ability of these microencapsulated forms to improve the uniformity of polyamide knitted goods dyeing was confirmed. This finding could be applied to the dyeing of polyamide substrates on an industrial scale, especially as the described process of microencapsulation is straightforward and could be performed in an industrial environment. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : Although initially lagging behind the USA, the amount and quality of research and development carried out in the UK can be compared favourably with that from other major world countries. The industrial research association, although a well-conceived concept to increase research and development efforts that gave significant results, was disappointing for several reasons. A major problem has been the dissemination, exploitation and commercialisation of research results. The activities of research organisations need to be reviewed regularly, as they may have a relatively short lifespan. The intermediate research and technology sector, given adequate support, may be the vehicle for better utilisation of research and development results. Teinture -- Fibres textiles synthétiquesIndex. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : A series of new dyes based on the N-analogue of Pechmann hybrid dyes were prepared by the condensation of different 5-aryl derivatives of pyrrolinone ester (phenyl, 4-bromophenyl, thienyl, and biphenyl) with isatin. N-Alkylated derivatives were also prepared using bromoethyl acetate. Full 1H and 13C NMR assignment was performed. All prepared dyes were soluble in most organic solvents: N-alkylated derivatives had better solubility than non-alkylated derivatives. The UV-vis absorption spectra of the derivatives under study are quite similar and exhibit maxima in the 509–526 nm range. No E/Z photoisomerisation is observed. The dyeing process, dye exhaustion on polyester, and the fastness properties of the dyes were examined. Note de contenu : - EXPERIMENTAL : Materials and equipment - Synthesis and analytics - Dyeing process at 130°C and calculation of percentage dyebath exhaustion - Colour fastness to washing - Colour fastness to rubbing - Dry crocking test - Wet crocking test - Colour fastness to perspiration - Colour fastness to light
