Résumé : |
Hydrogen gas storage is studied in order to ensure energy to electric vehicles which would enable no pollutant emissions. Despite many works devoted to gas storage by adsorption in microporous materials, hydrogen storage using adsorption process is not up to date developed for practical purpose. Indeed, due to the low gas density, the hydrogen gas is more difficult to store and then the autonomy required to ensure the viability of this project is not reached. These last years, many works dealt with the possibility to store the gas in microporous activated carbons (which are limited by the wide pore size distribution) and carbon nanomaterials. These last adsorbents seem to possess regular nanoscale dimension pores which would enable to adsorb large amounts of gas. This paper relates different experimental and theoretical works published on hydrogen adsorption in nanostructured carbon materials. |
