This will help indian paint companies to be ahead of their other asian counterparts in the race for consumer and environmentally friendly paints. This paper also demonstrates why the use of low odor paints not only makes painting a pleasure, but is more commercially viable in the long run compared to conventional interior paints. Its large band gap makes it sensitive only to UV radiations. For much desired activation in the visible range and to extend their applications to living spaces with relatively poor interior lighting illumination, the band gap has to be tailored. A novel photocatalyst, N-doped TiO2 shows a significant improvement over TiO2 in photocatalytic activity under visible light.
Photocatalytically active under visible light, N-doped TiO2, can be used as an additive in paints for interior walls of a room. Due to the photocatalytic activity it can decompose harmful organic substances reponsible for foul odor on absorption of visible light. Thus such paints can effectively function as a deodorizer for the room.Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=8987

Six presentations examined current issues in the fields of laundry detergents, cleaning products, cosmetics and perfumery. The focus was primarily on surfactants, biofilms, microplastics, soil-release polymers, NMR analysis and validation of fragrance-containing formulations. A further presentation explored the opportunities and benefits of brain research for marketing campaigns. Note de contenu : - SURFACTANTS AND POLYMERS : Formulated surfactant system for home care and l&l - Evolution of customised soil-release polymers for detergents of various kinds
- ANALYSIS AND TEST METHODS : Qualitative and quantitative NMR analysis of detergents with special emphasis on raw materials - Validation and evaluation of the performance of fragrance-containing formulations

Produits de nourriture du cuirIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : The deodorizer distillate (DD) is a byproduct of vegetable oil processing industry and is rich in functional bioactive components. This study aimed to employ phosphorylation modification for DD to produce a new sustainable fatliquor. The bioactive ingredients in DD, namely fatty acids, sterols, and tocopherols, were determined by using HPLC and GLC. The results revealed that the DD sample contained a high percentage of unsaturated fatty acids (72.3%) and high levels of γ and δ-tocopherols (54.8% and 31.60%, respectively). Mechanical parameters (tensile strength, elongation at break, and tear strength) of leather were improved after being treated with the prepared fatliquor emulsion. Eventually, SEM showed that the texture of the fatliquored leather had been remarkably enhanced. Moreover, the fatliquored leather possessed effective antibacterial effect against the specified +ve, −ve bacteria, and Candida albicans microorganisms. The strength, fullness, soft handle, and elasticity of leather were all improved, and the grain of leather was protected from becoming loose after drying.
