Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : As we know, when leather and its products are used in contact with skin, perspiration may dissolve components from the leather and this may include Cr(VI) so, using artificial perspiration to extract chromium (VI) in leather is of significance. Determination of chromium(VI) in leather using extraction with pH5.5 and 8.0 artificial perspiration solution and subsequent determination with DPC photometric method has been studied. The linearity, repeatability and recovery percentage were tested to evaluate the determination methods. The results show that the experimental methods have good linearity, feasibility and reliability. The result also illustrate that less chromium(VI) is extracted from leather with pH5.5 artificial perspiration solution than with pH8.0 alkaline artificial perspiration solution.
Tannage Résumé : An anodic stripping voltammetric method has been developed for determination of Cr(VI) content in leather treated with nitric acid-hydrogen peroxide microwave digestion. Microwave digestion was used in sample preparation for its fast digestion, lower reagent consumption and safe operation. The sample solution was mixed with DTPA (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid)-sodium acetate-sodium nitrate buffer solution, and then it was purged with oxigen free nitrogen for 300 seconds before deposition of the metals was carried out by applying a constant potential versus Ag/AgCl to the hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) for 60 seconds. A standard addition procedure was used for quantification. The repeatability and recovery percentage were tested to evaluate the determination methods. The results showed that Cr(VI) content in leather sample determined was 0.68mG/kG. Relative standard deviations for 8 replicate determinations of µg/L Cr(VI) standard solution and leather samples were carried out and the precision test results were 1.338 and 7.47 % respectively. recovery percentage was in the range from 97.22 % to 106.58 %. The proposed method is simple, convenient, sensitive and reliable.

Cuirs et peaux -- AnalyseIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : In this paper, volatile low molecular weight aldehydes and ketones in samples of leather shoes were collected by static absorption with water, analyzed and detected by 2,4dinitrophenylhydrazine pre-column derivatization of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Firstly, the sampling temperature and lime of the volatile aldehyde and ketone in leather shoes were optimized and then the volatile aldehyde and ketone in absorption liquid were determined. The experiment result shows that the optimal temperature is 45°C, the sampling time is 24 hours. The collected sample was derivatized by purified sulfuric acid acidulated 2,4dinitrophenylhydrazine. The volatile aldehydes and ketones in absorption liquid of leather shoes were formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone propionaldehyde, butyraldehyde, benzaIdehycle, cyclohexanone and hexanal the average concentrations of which are : 0.252mg/shoe, 0.061mg/shoe, 0.079mg/shoe, 0.053mg/shoe, 0.037mg/shoe, 0.011mg/shoe, 0.09mg/shoe, 0.018mgishoe respectively. This method is suitable for determination of volatile aldehydes and ketones in leather shoes.

Technique des plasmasIndex. décimale : 675.3 Technologie de la fourrure Résumé : In order to find out changes of the Rex rabbit hair under different Low Temperature Plasma (LTP) treatments, Rex rabbit hair fibres which were modified by oxygen, nitrogen, and air plasma, were examined by XPS, ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometery, Lab-eye software, HP-386 multi-angle gloss meter, YM-06A electronic single fibre strength meter, as well as by a Y151 fibre friction coefficient tester. The results show that oxygen plasma, nitrogen plasma and air plasma can all dramatically enhance exhaustion and fixation rate of Rex rabbit hair during dyeing. Treatment with air plasma and nitrogen plasma introduced more -NH2 to the surface of Rex rabbit hair fibres, promoting the reaction between -N1-12 and -SO3H of an anionic dyestuff in an acidic medium. Besides, the oxidation of oxygen plasma introduces polar functional groups such as hydroxyl or carbonyl, thus improving the hydrophilicity of Rex rabbit hair fibres. Compared with fibres without plasma treatment, the dyeing depth of fibres treated with oxygen, air, and nitrogen plasma has been significantly enhanced. ln addition, the rupture strength and elongation as well as glossiness of fibres reduces to a slight extent after LTP treatment with oxygen, nitrogen, and air. Ultimately, after oxygen, air and nitrogen plasma, the gap between the friction coefficients of against and along scale is narrowed, which can enhance the ability of the anti-felting performance.
