Résumé : |
For Krauss Maffei, a plant engineer developed a particularly space-saving painting system on two levels. The workpieces travel on a crane runway at a height of 12 m ; the walk-in painting and working area sor the workers is located 6 m high on the second floor and the space below is fully usable - protected by a guardrail for large parts weighing up to 30 tons. |
Note de contenu : |
- A special feature on two levels
- A single manipulator forms the entire conveyor system
- High flexibility in the process flow
- Rockfall protection as fall arrest
- Fig. 1 : Logistics area below, painting above : An extremely space-saving two-story facility was developed for painting the large parts
- Fig. 2 : Special safety nets secure the work area on the first floor against falling workpieces in an emergency - up to a weight of 30 t
- Fig. 3 : loading and unloading stations transport the workpieces from the first floor 12 m up to the crane runway on the second floor
- Fig. 4 : There are a total of 25 workstations on the second floor. The manipulator in the background takes care of the entire distribution of the workpieces. A catch basket under the load additionally secures the workpieces
- Fig. 5 : The paint booths are located on the second floor, while the paint supply system and the filter and washing technology are located on the first floor below
- Fig. 6 : By relocating the cleaning, painting and drying booths to the second floor, the first floor offers sufficient space for manual large-part painting up to 100 t as well as for storage areas, walkways and the paint store |
