The employed dynamic mixing technology allows for better mixing quality, minimized energy consumption of the dynamic mixer, smaller waste and enhanced application accuracy. The design was further optimized using advanced prediction tools developed specifically for simulation of dynamic mixing. Note de contenu : - Choice of technology: dynamic vs static mixing
- PowerCure design and optimization
- Assessment of mixing in dynamic mixers
- Methodology and algorithm
- Extension of the system

- Fig. 2 : Sika PowerCure dynamic mixing and application system
- Fig. 3 : Comparison of the typical mixing pattern for static and dynamic mixing ; dynamic mixing allows multi-directional mixing and dispersion
- Fig. 4 : Typical shear rates encountered in static versus dynamic mixer ; high shear values result in significant decline in components' viscosity and hence the required force and pressure in the dispensing unit

- Fig. 6 : Validation of mixing pattern obtained within dynamic mixers compared to measurement at different locations within the mixerPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=31946
