The effect of inlet dust concentration on clean gas emission at downstream of differently pores and fineness filter media was studied for particle number, mass concentration and particle size distribution i.e. D10, D50 and D90. The experimental design also entailed of investigating the filter media performances on flat media and industrial pulse jet test rig and critical analysis and correlation of their performances for designing the filter media (filter bag) as per real time requirement of manufacturing pigcess industries. The number and mass concentration of particles in downstream were found to less for finer denier smaller pore size filter media fabric. The test results at higher inlet feed dust concentration showed higher emission for coarser denier and larger pore size fabric than smaller pore size fabric and finer denier in comparison to their respective lower inlet feed dust concentration. |
