Many people are submitted to a cold environment, possibly hostile, on their workplaces. Despite a permanent improvement of working conditions, humidity, wind, cold and/or rain stil) pose a problem. The necessary protection levels will be different according to the hazards incurred. Two standards for the protection against cold and against rain are being studied at the European level in order to set up a common basis of requirements and test methods to insure an adequate protection level. |
