Résumé : |
In the ever-evolving realm of automotive technology, the demand for advanced coatings that ensure durability, aesthetics, and safety is paramount. Auto components, whether metallic or non-metallic, require coatings that not only adhere effectively but also withstand the rigors of everyday use and challenging environmental conditions. One of the primary challenges lies in coating plastic parts, notorious for their low surface energy, making adhesion difficult. This necessitates extensive research to achieve enduring adhesion on plastic surfaces. Coating materials destined for OEM applications undergo rigorous, long-term performance tests, which include crucial evaluations such as cyclic corrosion resistance (ASTM B117), abrasion resistance (ASTM D4060), cross-hatch adhesion (ASTM D3359), and cyclic humidity resistance (ASTM D2247). |
