Résumé : |
ANti-soiling coatings are trendy. Functional binders exhibiting anti-graffiti and anti-soiling properties are attracting ever increasing interest in the areas of research and development. A novel waterborne fluoro-modified 1-part or 2-part polyurethane system already meets all requirements of the VOC guideline of the European Community (EC Guideling 1999/13), generates surfaces with extremely low critical surface tensions and is comparable to "Teflon". |
Note de contenu : |
- Temporary and permanent anti-graffiti systems
- Repelling water and oil : fluorinated polymers
- Synthesis of the fluoro-modified polyurethane dispersions
- Reaching the goal in two steps
- Hydroxyl groups enable crosslinking
- A high degree of crosslinking via oligomeric compounds
- Adhesion characteristics on the substrate remain
- Fluorinated building blocks increase contact angle
- Determination of critical surface tension by contact angle measurement
- Surface hardness can be adjusted
- Future projects : the molecular topology
