In October 2020, the German Maritime Centre (Deutsches Maritimes Zentrum - DMZ) established the DMZ committee "Adhesive Bonding in Shipbuilding" to develop a quality standard for the use of adhesive bonding technologies in shipbuilding. In collaboration with industry experts and the German Institute for Standardization (Deutsches Institut für Normung - DIN), a DIN standard on "Adhesive bonding in shipbuilding" is now being created based on the current DIN, CEN and ISO quality assurance documents on adhesive bonding technology. |
