Titre : Extraction, identification and free radical scavenging activities of collagen-derived peptides from yak hide Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Guo Song, Auteur ; Xiaoyan Pang, Auteur ; Qiaoe Wang, Auteur ; Wei Ding, Auteur ; Zhiwen Ding, Auteur Année de publication : 2022 Article en page(s) : p. 73-82 Note générale : Bibliogr.
(Wikipedia)

The enzymolysis conditions were optimised via a single-factor experiment and response surface methodology (RSM) using the FRSA as the optimisation index. The optimal enzymolysis conditions were as follows: the optimal enzyme was alkaline protease, the enzymolysis pH was 8.7, the dosage of alkaline protease was 8000U/g, the temperature was 50°C, the time was 5 hours, the concentration of substrate was 5%. The FRSAs of hydroxyl, DPPH and superoxide anion radicals of the optimally prepared YCDP could be up to 39.63%, 71.08% and 69.93%, respectively, which were higher than those of CDP prepared from cattle hide under the same conditions. Further identification analyses showed that the components of YCDP with lower molecular weight contributed more to the FRSA of YCDP. The structure of IEGA is characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR). The tanning performance of IEGA is tested in ethanol from the aspects of the IEGA dosage, tanning temperature, pH value, and tanning time on shrinkage temperature (Ts) of sheep skin. It is found that under the optimized conditions with IEGA, the Ts of sheep skin tanned with IEGA is about 86°C, which is higher than normal epoxide tanned leather. Furthermore, SEM showed that IEGA tanned leather obtained better opened-up fiber structure than glycerol triglycidyl ether (GTE) tanned leather. Tanning mechanism investigation suggested that the cross-linking process should be predominately taking place among the -NH2 groups of collagen fibers by the epoxy groups of IEGA.

Tannage Résumé : In this work, a graphene oxide (GO) modified small molecule reactive dye was prepared and further applied in the dyeing of the biomass-derived aldehyde tanning agent (BAT) tanned chromefree leather for clarifying its application properties. The modified dye (GORD) was prepared by introducing Reactive Red180 (RRD180) onto the surface of GO using the dehydration condensation method. GORD was characterized using FTIR spectroscopy, UVVis spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. The uptake ratios and the color fastness to sunlight of the GORDs were tested. FTIR and amino group consumption tests showed that RRD-180 was successfully grafted onto the GO lamellar structure, and the color rendering feature of the GORD was similar to that of RRD-180. The introduction of GO reduced the initial degradation temperature of GORD in the second stage (from 170ºC to 150ºC), but this did not affect the shrinkage temperature of the dyed leather. The uptake ratios of RRD-180 and GORDs were both higher than 90%, indicating that GO modification did not affect the reactive dye’s uptake by leather. Importantly, the coloring fastness to sunlight of the grain and flesh sides of the dyed leather was improved, indicating that the GORD endowed the dyed leather with a certain UV-shielding performance. This work provides new ideas for promoting the industrial applications of GO and GO-based functional materials in chrome-free leather manufacturing. TannageIndex. décimale : 675.2 Préparation du cuir naturel. Tannage Résumé : Isophorone diamine (IPDA) and epichlorohydrin (ECH) were used to fabricate the epoxy tanning agents, and polyalcohol compounds (glycerol, polyethylene glycol, ethylene glycol) were employed to introduce the ether bonds into the epoxy tanning agents to improve their compatibility with water. The prepared epoxy tanning agents were named IGE, IPE and IEE for the introduction of glycerol, polyethylene glycol and ethylene glycol, respectively. FT-IR and 1H NMR analysis indicated that epoxy groups, ether bonds and hexatomic rings were successfully introduced into IGE, IPE and IEE. The tanning performances of the epoxy tanning agents were further evaluated in water, ethanol-50 (50% of ethanol in water) and ethanol-95 (95% of ethanol in water) medium, which suggested that ethanol-50 was the most favorable one for the epoxy tanning agents. The IGE tanned leather exhibited the highest shrinkage temperature of 83ºC in ethanol-50 due to its low viscosity, high epoxy value and wide molecular dispersion. Morphology observation indicated that the IGE tanned leather exhibited better dispersion of fiber network than that of IPE and IEE tanned leathers. These results illustrated that IGE was an appropriate tanning agent in water-ethanol medium, which could be considered as a candidate for the organic tanning agents. SelsIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : In the beamhouse collagen is degraded by the action of acids, salts and alkalis. In our study we found that the amount of degradation Was decided not only by the kind and dosage of acids, alkalis and salts, but also by the degree of swelling. Collagen degradation increased in proportion to the degree of swelling, this Was found from the results of many experiments using different systems of acid, acid/salt, alkali, alkali/salt. The structure of collagen was degraded and impaired by the extent of the swelling. According to these results, non-swelling liming would cause less collagen loss than would the ordinary type of swelling liming.
