Using the latest developments in thermoplastic composite processing and flexible printed electronics, IPC and its partners developed a lightweight, smart battery casing for aricraft applications. With optimised materials selection, part design and sensor embedding, the composite casing meets the sector's functional and safety requirements, including resistance to cell therman runaway. |
