Titre : Decolorisation and mineralisation of CI Reactive Black 8 by the Fenton and ultrasound/Fenton methods Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Hui Zhang, Auteur ; Daobin Zhang, Auteur ; Yi Zhang, Auteur Année de publication : 2007 Article en page(s) : p. 101-105 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 667.3 Teinture et impression des tissus Résumé : The effects of pH, ferrous ion and hydrogen peroxide dosage on the decolorisation and mineralisation of CI Reactive Black 8 by the Fenton process with/without ultrasonic irradiation were investigated. It was verified that the presence of ultrasonic irradiation did not enhance the decolorisation of CI Reactive Black 8 significantly by Fenton's reagents, but it enhanced the chemical oxygen demand removal efficiency. The enhancement was more pronounced for lower (<0.89 mm) or higher (>1.78 mm) ferrous ion dosage. The optimal pH for chemical oxygen demand removal was 3.0. Chemical oxygen demand removal efficiency increased with the increasing H2O2 dosage and reached the highest level at 5.88 mm, but further increase in H2O2 dosage would not increase removal efficiency significantly. It was verified that the presence of ultrasonic irradiation enhanced the decolorisation of CI Reactive Black 8. The decolorisation efficiency decreased with increasing pH, but increased with increasing iron addition and temperature in both systems. Initial dye concentration had little effect on the decolorisation efficiency in either system.

In this paper, the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method is used to determine the content of DMFm in leather and textile products. This method is simple, rapid, and highly accurate. An Agilent 6890N-5973 GC-MS instrument and a DB-5MS column are used in this method. By optimizing the extraction process parameters, the best extraction solvent for DMFm with over 90% extracted is ethyl acetate, and the method successfully quantifies DMFm with a good linear relationship (R2=0.9998) within the range 0.1-20mg/kg. The recovery rate of this method is 80-100%, the RSD is 2.3-9.1%, and the lowest detection limit is determined as 0.01mg/kg. Different contents of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) were introduced by three addition modes to copolymerize with methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, acrylic acid (AA) in the presence of K2S2O8. To obtain stable latexes, NaHCO3 was employed as a buffer to compensate for the acidity from the thermal dissociation of K2S2O8, and triethylamine was used to neutralize the carboxyl acid from AA. The results showed that the stable latexes with core/shell structure were synthesized by this method, and higher GMA content or addition at earlier stage led to forming the latexes with higher content of coagulum and bigger sized particles. During the formation of films, the polymer epoxy groups underwent the crosslinking reaction with carboxyl acid. When the GMA content increased or GMA was introduced at a later stage, high crosslinking extent was formed in the films. As a result, the crosslinking provided the films with improved water resistance, chemical resistance, tensile strength, hardness, abrasion resistance, and thermal stability. The UV-curable coatings were prepared with various amounts of the obtained fluorinated polyacrylic acrylate oligomer. The influences of fluorine content on the properties of UV-curable films were investigated by the tests of hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, thermal stability, water absorption, hardness, and chemical resistance. The results showed that the water contact angle of cured films increased from 78.5° to 104.5°, n-hexadecane contact angles increased from 12.3° to 43.4°, the water absorption decreased from 1.27% to 0.63%, while the fluorine content of the cured films increased from 0 to 5.7 wt%. In addition, thermal stability and chemical resistance of the curable films containing fluorinated oligomer were also clearly improved.
