Résumé : |
Within the IGF research project 20493 BR a new technology for the integral manufacturing of biaxial-reinforced tubular fabrics with variable cross-sections was successfully developed, implemented and tested at the ITM. The tubular multi-layered weft-knitted fabrics feature continuous, uninterrupted reinforcement yarns in both the longitudinal and circumferential directions. Thus, a solid foundation for the efficient serial production of tubular pre-forms in integral design and eventually for the cost-effective production of highly load-bearing FRP tubes with complex geometry was successfully established. |
