In case of thermoplastic components, the creep and relaxation behavior must also be taken into account over this period of time. This has not yet been solved for injection molded long-fiber-reinforced thermoplastics. In order to be able to simulate the long-term behavior for this material class, the IKV has developed an integrative calculation method. Note de contenu : - The fiber length influences the long-term behavior
- Non-linear viscoelastic material model based on pseudo grains
- Influence of fiber curvature on long-term behavior
- Integrative simulation as the key to success
- FIGURES : 1. The internal microstructure can be well described by measuring fiber orientation and fiber length distribution - 2. The fiber length (LFT : long fiber reinforcement : SFT : short fiber reinforcement) has a great influence on the long-term behavior - 3. The effort-oriented calibration procedure enables a good representation of the time-dependent mechanical behavior of the matrix component - 4. The pronounced fiber curvature in LFT components must be taken into account in the material model - 5. If the curvature reduction function is adapted to the processing, the material behavior can reflect reality well - 6. Successful validation of the material model on the model component. For this purpose, a 3-point flexural relaxation test was performedEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bL0xWUEg4OmIXeCn32fkOQFsFanAukBy/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=29679
