Atopic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes itchiness and redness, as well as a loss of confidence. A new active ingredient from BASF is now proven to help improve the appearance of skin that is prone to atopy. It helps to support the skin’s natural physical and microbial barriers, and to reduce inflammatory mediator release, and can be used to help comfort atopic-prone skin. The ingredient is derived from French chestnut leaves, being 100% of natural and organic origin. It enables cosmetics manufacturers to meet rising demand for dermocosmetic products that address common epidermal concerns and improve the skin condition. |
