The electrospinning method was applied to construct polyamide 6 (PA6) nano-cobweb fibrous membranes at various PA 6 and barium chloride (BaCl2) concentrations. The surface morphologies of the membranes were observed by the scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the average nanofiber diameter, average nano-cobweb diameter and coverage rate of nano-cobweb were calculated. The results show that the nano-cobweb membrane is composed of conventional electrospun fibers and ultrafine spider-web-like nano-cobwebs. With the increasing of PA6 concentration, the average diameters of the nanofiber and the nano-cobweb both increase, whereas the nano-cobweb coverage rate is high at a moderate PA6 concentration. With the increasing of BaCl2 concentration, the nanofiber diameters become larger but the nano-cobweb diameters barely change. The nano-cobweb coverage rate increases initially and then decreases. |
