Because of the scarcity of defective colour-patterned fabric samples and the imbalance of defect types, an auto-encoder trained with defect-free samples is used. However, the auto-encoder sometimes has weak generalisation ability, leading to mis- or over-detection of defects. An unsupervised and memorising defect-free method is proposed for colour-patterned fabric defects. The method designs a memory-guided quantisation variational auto-encoder-2 model and improves the residual post-processing operation. Specifically, it has three significant characteristics. First, it avoids time-consuming and laborious manually labelled samples and only needs defect-free samples in the training phase. Second, we expect the reconstruction image to be a defect-free image. Thus, memory modules are introduced to encourage the model to memorise the features of defect-free samples, which help to remove the image defect areas at the testing stage. Third, to further improve the detection accuracy, the closing operation is used to deal with the residual image that is calculated between the tested and the corresponding reconstructed image. Extensive experiments on various representative fabric samples demonstrated the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. The noncoplanar unit was incorporated into poly(amide-imide)s (PAIs) main chain by Yamazaki-Higashi phosphorylation of DIDA with various aromatic diamines. Encouragingly, all of the PAIs show good solubility in some common solvents such as N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAc), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP), and m-cresol. In addition, the soluble PAIs show good optical transmittances of beyond 85 % at 500 nm due to the decreased crystallization ability. On the other hand, PAIs possess good mechanical properties with tensile strengths of 72–90 MPa and tensile moduli beyond 2 GPa. Meanwhile, the designed PAIs also exhibit excellent thermal properties: their glass transition temperatures (Tg) range from 278 to 314 °C, initial decomposition temperatures (5 % weight loss temperatures, T5wt%) are beyond 470 °C, coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE) are below 10 ppm/°C. The excellent mechanical and thermal properties are due to the strengthened hydrogen bonding interaction among the amide groups. Therefore, it is believed that incorporating noncoplanar unit and amide group into the polymer main chain at the same time can simultaneously improve processability, optical transparency, mechanical and thermal properties. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the char of PAI at 800 °C is as high as 72.5 %, which is one of the highest known values. When PAI was incorporated into epoxy resin, the blend passed UL94 V-0 rating due to the high charring capability of PAI. SilanesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Silane/TiO2 hybrid coatings were prepared on 304 stainless steel (304 SS) by a simple dipping method, where the silane is d-γ-methylacryloxy propyl trimethoxyl silane (CH2=C(CH3)COO(CH2)3Si(OCH3)3, MPMS). The photogenerated cathodic protection and invalidation of the hybrid coatings were evaluated by microstructure and electrochemical characterization. The coupling agent MPMS reduced the agglomeration of the nanosized TiO2 powders and promoted the adhesion of the coatings. Barrier protection of the coupled metal was promoted for the hybrid coatings in a short corrosion time. However, MPMS decreased the carrier concentration of the TiO2 electrode due to the large interface resistance. As a result, the corrosion potential shifted positively and the photogenerated cathodic protection decreased. In long-time corrosion, the hybrid coatings became invalid because of the accumulation of electropositive holes that may weaken the Ti–O bond and destroy the barrier effect.
