Electro Magnetic Brush technology offers high-speed application of powder coatings in this layers. The author takes a look at the benefits of this technology.
To paraphrase Henry Ford's comment, in the powder coating business it's a case of any colour as long as its green. It is the environmental properties of powder coatings coupled with their performance qualities, that help convince the surface coatings industry of their benefits. Powder coatings is a market that still offers enormous potential for growth, especially because of UV-powder coating technology and Electro-Magnetic Brush (EMB) technology that are currently the spearheads of DSM's research. These technologies respond to the needs of the market: they are environmentally friendly systems, they cure rapidly, and because of their good covering power can be applied in thin layers. |
