Performance assessment of RCC building structures can be done while accessing the chemicals which are being used for the engineers to complete the structure of building. Testing the chemical required in the building construction are main ly three main parameters to test & these are as fol lows : 1. Water Reducers 2. Water Proofers 3. Strengtheners. Various technics adopted for al l these three parameters.
The evaluation of the physical and mechanical properties of materials is known as physical properties testing. Testing uncovers aspects of the material such as its 1. Hardness, 2. Strength, impact strength, 3. Resistance to abrasion, 4. Elasticity, plasticity, brittleness, 5. Fatigue, and creep the deformation caused by constant loads for long periods. All these properties are measured, when using a material in a construction project. |
