Pression hydrostatiqueIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Through an innovative approach of high hydrostatic pressure processes, the highest microbial safety of cosmetics while maintaining their physico-chemical and organoleptic properties was reached. The objective of such a development was to reduce, even to suppress the use of preservatives and consequently to protect the integrity and the naturalness of the treated products. This approach was called COSMECLEAN®. High hydrostatic pressures open the route to cosmetics without preservatives but natural, in link with consumer's demand. This green process also brings new opportunities to cosmetics industry in its environ-mental approach, since the industrial equipment requires little energy and has no specific requirements.
