Construction and industrial machines, together with their add-on parts and accessories, are exposed to extreme conditions. The coating systems used must provide lasting corrosion protection and a high standard of mechanical resistance, as well as meeting the requirements for colour stability and gloss. |

- Fig. 2 : As well as meeting the required standards of robustness, the top coat must have an impressive appearance, including a gloss level of over 90 gloss units at a measurement angle of 60°
- Following a short UV-B test, the new coating system shows relatively minor colour changes and a small reduction in gloss |
