Waterborne two-component (2K) polyurethane (PUR) coatings have long proven suitable for a wide variety of applications, such as the coating of plastics and wood. However, waterborne 2K polyurethane systems have not yet been able to establish themselves in the formulation of trafficable floor coatings (e.g. automobile showrooms, garages, etc.) due to the special requirements of such applications.
In recent years the development of new waterborne binders has improved the performance of coating materials formulated with these binders to such and extent that we can now present cosolvent-free, manually mixable systems with above-average mechanical and chemical properties, which even satisfy the requirements of trafficable floor coatings.Note de contenu : - Identical crosslinking behaviour of waterborne and conventional polyurethanes
- Film quality is virtually independent of the climate- No winter/summer quality
- Water - Now its trafficable
- Not all tires are the same
- Method for testing tire resistance
- ...and are VOC-free
- Waterborne 2K polyurethane systems take over yet another field of applicationPermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=27619
