The automotive industry is one of the major contributors to environmental pollution due to the high consumption of energy and use of hazardous materials in the painting process.
To address these issues, several new technologies have been developed, including Thin Film Pretreatment, Capsulated Paint Shop, and In Line Dual Tone Painting. These technologies aim to reduce energy consumption, minimize waste generation, and improve overall sustainability while also decreasing cycle time in the painting process.
This paper provides an overview of these technologies, highlighting their benefits and limitations, and discusses their potential for widespread adoption in the automotive industry. The findings suggest that the use of these innovative and sustainable initiatives can lead to significant reductions in the environmental impact of automotive paint shops, while also improvingtheir efficiency, profitability, and cycle time.Note de contenu : - Thin film pretreatment : Future uses

Revêtements (produits chimiques):Peinture (produits chimiques)Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : For a healthy life it is necessary to breath in the air which is unpolluted. For example, New Delhi's air quality is two times bad than Beijing. WHO survey of 1600 world cities shows that our capital has the worst air quality of any major city in the world. Air pollution in India is estimated to kill 1.5 million people every year ; it is the fifth largest killer in India. India has the world's highest death rate from chronic respiratory diseases and asthma, according to the WHO. In Delhi, poor quality air damages irreversibly the lungs of 2.2 million or 50 percent of all children. As reflected when outside air quality is worse ; than interior air quality where we spend our most of time also requires attentions.
In recent years there has been a considerable amount of work on the improvement of Interior Air Quality. (IAQ) Many new formulations are made to resolve this problem some people achieved desirable efficiency. Many new suggestions are given by some researchers. In this paper it is our main concern to compare and review those suggestions. We will try to find how those ideas are better than conventional interior air quality improvement systems. In future the demand of improved air quality will increase surely and people will come towards the air quality improving coating and paints. As it will become the necessity of time. So, the future of this area is unlimited to be explored.Note de contenu : - Interior air quality
