Résumé : |
Nanotechnology is one of the latest and amongst most talked about domain in the area where technology dom inates everything. This has not only created possibilities for many new areas but also has offered solutions to larger number of problems in the coating arena. Many national and international level organizations have more focused spending on R&D budget for exploiting capabilities of nanotechnology including manufacturing. These materials are expanding range of nove) properties that are discovering new concept beneficial for application in different industrial segments.
Nano-science is area of scientific development which is going to get far more promises in future. Nano-materials are smaller, lighter and faster mean to make smarter things, using fewer raw materials, impacting to improve quality and production volume and yield.
This paper describes various nanotechnology enabled materials and their application in paints and coating industries. This also takes into account to capture the nanotechnology development by highlighting the various initiatives undertaken by the government and non-government bodies to promote basic R&D in it the major role involved and the state of regulatory framework existing in the global market. |
