Résumé : |
Nanotechnology is a very active research area all over the world. The two initial areas of research deals with the understanding of the hydration of cement particles and the use of nano-size silica particles. Definitions are important because they allow that a topic can be discussed without misunderstandings. When talking about Nano and sol gel technology this seems to be especially important, because nanotechnology is not a scientific field on its own, but rather a conglomerate of almost all scientific disciplines, ranging from chemistry and physics over materials science to e.g. medicines, coatings, construction chemicals. |
