The automotive industry has undergone incredible changes by ways of material and process development. Different driving forces behind the development of better and more efficient process have brought dramatic changes over last 100 years.
Number of applied coatings layers has been reduced to 3 layers. The latest development of wet on wet coating technology coating machines automatic cleaning process the time taken for the body painting reduced to 8 hr.
Emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC) is main problem for coating industry considering the fact increase in the solid content which increase covering capacity of coating and decrease in solvent content in solvent borne formula is implemented the relative increase of solid by 20% generated completely new technology i.e. High solid technology. |
