SpyropyraneIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : A diverse color-tunable luminous polyurethane leather coating (CLPU) which can reversibly change color as well as fluorescent emission through the UV-vis or UV-darkness circle was prepared, via covalent incorporation of amino-functionalized phosphors and photochromic 1-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-3,3-Dimethylindolino-6’-nitrobenzopyrylospiran (SP). X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), UV-vis absorption spectra, reflectance spectra, fluorescent spectra as well as the migration percentage were measured to characterize the resultant samples structure and properties. In daylight, CLPU appears white before 365 UV irradiation and violet after UV irradiation, due to the transition of the spiro forms of spiropyran to merocyanine forms. In darkness, CLPU emits intense green light before UV irradiation, and the light changes to orange after UV irradiation, due to the phosphors showing pleasant diverse color-tunable luminous effect. Tannage Résumé : In this study, diethyl bis(2-hydroxyethyl) aminomethyl phosphonate was modified by hexamethylene diisocyanate, and then was utilized to partly replace the isocyanates to prepare hyperbranched polyurethanes (HPU-DPAs). The hyperbranched polyurethanes were then employed in the retanning process of wet blue. The shrinkage temperature, average thickness as well as mechanical properties of leather before and after retanning were acquired. The flammability of retanned leather was measured by cone calorimeter test. The morphologies of wet blue and leather after retanning by HPU-DAP were obtained using a scanning electron microscope. Results showed that the average thickness, tensile strength and elongation at break of leather were all improved after retanning. Retanning by HPU-DAPs can effectively increase flame retardancy of final leather. Tannage Résumé : A novel fluorescent waterborne polyurethane retanning agent (FWPRA) was prepared through chemically incorporation of fluorescer, disodium 4,4’-bis[4-anilino-6-hydroxyethylamino-6-(2-choloronilino-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino]stilbene-2,2’-disulphonate (RSW), into polyurethane backbone as a chain extender. The chemical structure was characterized by FTIR, 1H NMR and UV?vis spectrophotometer, and fluorescence performances of FWPRA, RSW together with resultant leather were investigated systematically. The results indicate that polymerization has a positive effect on optical performance; FWPRA shows enhanced fluorescence intensity in comparison with fluorescer RSW. In the retanning process, no decay of optical performance can be found when chromium(III) salt and chestnut extract are used together, which reveals that FWPRA presents good fluorescence stability to other chemicals. For wet blue retanned by FWPRA, the shrinkage temperature, thickness as well as mechanical properties are improved.
