The authors discuss the company's latest technology, which offers super low odour and near zero emissions with stain resistance and formaldehyde abatement functionalities.
Consumer expectations towards premium paint increase constantly. While low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC) could have been a product highlight to customers in the past, nowadays consumers expect low paint odour and low emissions, as well as additional functionalities like stain resistance and formaldehyde abatement.
New binder innovations, enhanced formulation design and a deeper understanding of the evaluation methodologies have enabled BASF to deliver new products to the market with these consumer driven properties — our safe, happy and healthy promise. In this paper, the product's characteristics and performance will be shared to highlight its significant advancements over the current market leading paints and alternative binders. |
