Résumé : |
Natural oils contains high percentage of unsaturated fatty acid and can be converted into epoxy fatty acid by epoxidation process. The Natural oil was first epoxidized using hydrogen peroxide (H202) and acetic acid. Epoxidized natural oils has emerged as an interesting concept as they obtained from sustainable, renewable natural resoui ce and are environmental friendly. For the curing purpose the epoxidized oils are also treated with a biobased acid such as citric acid (CA) and tartaric acid (TA) forming Bioepoxy CA and Bioepoxy TA. A thermogravimetric analysis revealed that thermal stability of bioepo) CA and bioepoxy TA resins were comparable with the petroleum based epoxy resins trimethylolpropane triglycidyl ethi based (P1-epoxy) and bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether based (P2-epoxy). The aim of the review is to study the kinetics of th, reaction involving d uring Epoxidation and Curing process. |
