Résumé : |
Investing in a new rotary atomiser and a new proportioner allowed Carbo Kohlensäurewerke to improve the cost-effectiveness of its paints shop over the longer term. In addition, the quality of the coatings now significantly exceeds the company's original requirements. |
Note de contenu : |
- A permanent reduction in overspray
- High application efficiency
- Complete system for rapid installation
- Coating thickness is the key consideration
- Improved ultrasound test
- Reduction in cleaning
- Fig. 1 : Every year Carbo Kohlensäurewerke inspects and coats around, 30 000 bottles at its plant in Bad Hönningen
- Fig. 2 : Following the move to the new system, the paint is now applied to the base in one step and the coatings are thinner and more even
- Fig. 3 : The challenges involved in setting up the new system lay in the details. The insulated layout meant that the pump had to be installed in the existing plastic cabinet to avoid problems with the electrostatic system
- Fig. 4 : Carbo Kohlensäurewerke acts as the test centre for the gas bottles. This process involves specific requirements relating to the thickness of the coating
- Fig. The project is satisfied. The newly installed paint application system has reduced the proportion of overspray and therefore also the amount of cleaning work needed |
