These examples of ingredient development and application based on activities and projects relying on the use of renewable natural sources represent an important pillar going forward for further sustainable development planning and growth strategies within the APG Group in line with Good Sustainability Practices (GSP) for the cosmetics industry.
Several investments have been implemented and are planned for the future in order to secure a high level of sustainability in ingredients sourcing, manufacture and recycling as the first step of the entire cosmetic supply chain. This approach is based on a platform of renewable and sustainable manufacturing technologies and processes which offer much more than a simple marketing effort in terms of real benefits to our industry and represents a contribution to the protection of our environment and of human beings in general which, if followed on a larger scale, could also help build a brighter outlook for the future of our planet. We pride ourselves in playing a leading role in the cosmetics supply chain from raw materials to final consumer use and in turn, are further driven towards the achievement of future important ethical and innovative goals. |
