Résumé : |
Life-cycle cost analysis is a powerful tool for comparing the economics of corrosion control options. It is extremely beneficial to engage the assistance of a cost estimating or economics professional when establishing an LCC evaluation technique and to ensure proper selection of the discount rate. When used in conjunction with a well-designed corrosion management plan, facilities can improve their bottom line and protect their assets from corrosion. It can also be beneficial for contractors to generally familiarize themselves with this type of process, as it can help them better understand how facility owners plan their projects, and they can prepare bids and work plans accordingly. |
